Los Angeles

Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP began in Los Angeles in 1927 and moved to the firm’s current location on Hope Street in 1975. Serving as our headquarters, the Los Angeles office is now home to 150 attorneys.  As you would expect with an office of this size, our areas of practice include the full scope of a commercial law practice, and our clients range from Bank of America and Northrop Grumman Corporation to start-up companies.

The Los Angeles office was named a "Best Places to Work" by the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2007.

The corridors of the Los Angeles office are lined with original contemporary art collected by Gordon Hampton.  This museum-quality collection brightens the day for those who work in this office.  As the heart and hub of the firm, the Los Angeles office provides a high energy, stimulating environment for the attorneys who work here.
