San Francisco

The San Francisco office strives to ensure that its summer associates obtain experience working in each of our various practice groups and for as many different attorneys as possible.  Work projects are generally distributed at weekly meetings conducted by our summer associate coordinators, who are typically senior associates.  Our summer coordinators always seek to match specific projects with the interests of the summer associates.  However, we also push our summer associates to take on projects in a variety of practice areas so they can gain experience even in areas in which they do not envision themselves practicing as an attorney.  We have found this to be the best way of ensuring that our summer associates make the correct decision regarding their ultimate area of practice.
